The BEST Travel Tech Upgrade I've made this year

I can’t believe I waited so long to buy a travel router, I don’t think I could go back now. Such a huge upgrade to convenience and security for connecting your devices to public wifi while traveling or working remotely.

• GL.iNet Slate AX (GL-AXT1800)

  1. I have both a Slate and a Mango. The Mango is much cheaper, smaller and has lower performance. It lives in my computer bag. The Slate lives in it’s own small case (via Amazon) that also includes USB cables & adapters, a power supply and an Ethernet cable. I bought it specifically for when I was traveling someplace where having a WiFi repeater would be useful because of weak signals. The Mango is probably the best choice for cruise ships while the Slate has the best overall functionality.

  2. None of those actually work. I tried port forwarding and exactly what I thought…nope, none of the settings actually work.

  3. LOL, I guess I’m late, too. Just ordered one last week and can’t wait to use it on my next trip (in a couple of weeks).
